Hello Everyone!!

For those of you who don’t know me my name is Jenna! I am a Certified Nutrition Practitioner (CNP) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT). On this platform I’m hoping to share with you all things nutrition and fitness with a few recipes here and there.

My personal journey with nutrition and fitness has been driving down a straight but sometimes bumpy road for a long time. As a child and teen, I was always very active with swimming and dance where I ate a fairly healthy diet (shout out to my parents). However, for as long as I can remember I dealt with skin issues like acne, shingles, and eczema. After high school I moved away from home to study Nutrition and Dietetics at Western University. During this time, I found my love and passion for nutrition. This was also the moment when I realized how nutrition on a cellular level can affect your health, and in my case skin health.

On top of that, I had always known cancer was a chronic disease that ran close in my family. For these reasons, I knew it was up to me to take control of what I put into my body and how I mentally took care of myself.

In my final year of University, I decided to get my personal training certification to put my love for movement and nutrition together. Working as a trainer allowed me to really value the work of having that one-on-one relationship with clientele to help them along their fitness journey. That’s when I knew I wanted to do the same with nutrition.

After graduating with my BScFN, I looked into other avenues of nutrition that focused on the individual. That’s when I came across the Institute of Holistic Nutrition (IHN). For me, this was the point where nutrition came together and made sense for the human body. Everyone has their own unique build and blueprint. The fuel you eat and the way you move is not the same as your co-worker, your best friend, or even your sibling.

It is my goal and mission to:

· Help you find a unique healthy lifestyle for your body.

· Combat any stress that you have living in this busy world. To avoid feeling run down, burnt-out, or even worse eventually develop a chronic disease from it.

· To prove and show your body that yes food is energy, but so is movement and nature.

Hop in and follow along this nutrition and fitness road with me as I share my own personal journey with nutrition and researched backed facts to learn more about how you can take control of YOUR health.

Stay tuned for full skin story.
